CreaSus National Piloting Event in Ireland | Where Creativity Meets Commerce

CreaSus is launching its series of national piloting events, implemented across partner countries as part of its programme of activities supporting Cultural and Creative Sector Industries. The series begins in Ireland, in collaboration with its partner WestBIC.

On 16 April 2026, in Galway, Ireland, WestBIC will host a practical, hands-on event supporting creative entrepreneurs and early-stage cultural and creative professionals in developing sustainable and viable business approaches. This initiative focuses on turning creative potential into concrete and sustainable activity.

The event brings together industry experts, support organisations, and creatives to address a central question: what does it take to turn creative talent into a viable business? Through a series of interventions, participants will explore key topics including innovation in the creative sector, commercial validation, market testing, and access to funding opportunities.

The programme features contributions from professionals working directly in the field, including Ainslie Peters, who will address innovation processes in the creative industries, and Kasia McEvoy, who will share her entrepreneurial experience. Participants will also gain insight into existing support mechanisms available to early-stage initiatives.

A central component of the event is the practical engagement with the CreaSus tools and toolkits, allowing participants to assess their current position, identify development pathways, and better structure their approach to sustainability.
