CreaSus presents ESG Assessment Framework for Cultural and Creative Sectors at AIDEA’s 2026 Conference

CreaSus was presented at the XLI National Conference of AIDEA (Accademia Italiana di Economia Aziendale), held on 22–23 January 2026 at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, Italy.

AIDEA is the leading Italian academic association in the field of business and management studies and represents a key reference point for the national research community. The 2026 conference, titled “Business Intelligences for Sustainable Competitiveness and the Common Good”, brought together more than 900 academics from universities across Italy, offering a high-level forum for discussing sustainability, innovation, and responsible management.

Within this important academic setting, CreaSus full member, Department of Economics, Management and Business Law from University of Bari (Italy), represented by the Proff. Lagioia Gallucci and Dr. Strippoli, presented the paper “ESG indicators for assessing sustainability in the creative and cultural industries”, sharing key outcomes of the project. The contribution focused on the development and testing of ESG indicators specifically designed for creative and cultural enterprises, with particular emphasis on environmental and social dimensions.

By engaging with a broad academic audience specialised in management and sustainability studies, the presentation enabled a critical exchange on the applicability, robustness, and transferability of ESG measurement tools for the cultural and creative sectors. Participation in the AIDEA National Conference thus represented an important opportunity to disseminate CREASUS results within a prestigious research network, to gather expert feedback, and to further position the project as a relevant contributor to the development of sustainability assessment approaches aligned with European policy objectives.
