Cultural and creative organizations express strong appreciation for the CreaSus self-assessment tool—a free, user-friendly online resource that measures and improves sustainability performance in CCSIs. A recent survey among organizations involved in the pilot phase confirms that the tool is easy to understand, useful, and valuable.
Overall, 86% of respondents are satisfied or very satisfied with the tool. The same percentage also indicate that they are willing to use it as a sustainability certification instrument. In addition, 95% of participants say they want to use the platform regularly for periodic self-assessments of their organizations’ sustainability. More broadly, 71% rate the CreaSus tool as valuable or very valuable.
Ease and usability are two of the most highly praised aspects. 76% of organizations find the questionnaire items easy to understand, and nearly all participants agree that completing the self-assessment is straightforward in terms of usability. Accessing and interpreting the results is also described as simple by the majority of respondents.
Feedback on relevance is more mixed. While nearly half of respondents consider the tool relevant or very relevant, 52% rate it as average. Still, only a very small number find it lacking in value.
The feedback survey, completed by 21 of the 50 organizations involved in the CreaSus piloting programme, shows that the self-assessment tool is well received, particularly for its usability, practicality, and potential for ongoing use. Cultural and creative organizations from the European Union can still join the CreaSus community to benefit from the self-assessment tool.
